Default Jones signs with Possum Holler

I like the way the article states that the Titans security personnel have been alerted that Jones is coming to camp.

Can you believe this clown got (est.) 18 mil guaranteed money? Amazing.

Until the league makes examples of guys like Jones and Owens they deserve all the turmoil these guys create. Of course the fans are the ones being ripped off.
The teams just raise prices to pay these *****ic contracts.

Probably the security personnel are to keep an eye out for his buddies. He seems to have them attached at the hip, and they must have a strong hold on what he does. Not a good way to start a professional career, if he plans to make a go of it.

Isn't this the same guy that pushed his mother out of the way on draft day, when they were getting him on camera? ... a real winner

That is fantastic. The more money they give him and the more of it that is guaranteed is great. Hopefully he can help contribute to round 2 of their salary cap problems.

The signing bonus may be "guaranteed" but you can bet there are clauses about getting money back (see Ricky Williams, Kellen Winslow, Jr. contracts) if certain things happen.

Talking Seems Jones Not Signed After All

Jones not signed........yet.

Love the little quip by Fisher that the only way Jones gets into the Altlanta game is to pick up a ticket at the "will call window".

i keep laboring under the illusion that owners r smart businessmen. $18 mil to a guy who hasn't played a down in the league? they're just investing in possible ticket sales, not necessarily a quality fball player.
