I just wanted to talk a little bit about the game.
1. Did anyone see Jason Taylor get dominated by Tait at LT? I dont know if late 4th quarter Tait might get tired and let Jason zoom by, but man did Tait take Jason out of the game, and each play. He didnt even have an assisted tackle. 2. Matt Roth didnt look that great either. He was playing against the 2nd or 3rd string Bears offense, and he didnt seem to do much. 3. Mark Bradley looked good, and could end up stealing the #2 spot. He looked really good. 4. I wish they would have ran Ricky more. I mean, he is probably going to be trade bait, so why not play him while you can, and let him do his thing? Any other thoughts?

Vernon Carey is going to get dominated at LT for the Dolphins. He can't handle a fast edge rusher.

Bears won 27-24.
I thought Grossman looked a little sloppy. I know it was first team D he was playing against, but besides his bomb to Mushin, he didnt do much.

I didn't see most of the 1st qtr as I was on the road at that time. I was really impressed with Kyle Orton and Mark Bradley. Orton is a player. At worst I believe he will make an excellent #2, but to be honest, he has starter material written all over him to me. Excellent 4th round pick by Da Bears.

the thing I noticed most in the game is Bernard Berrian.
I spent the whole game wishing we would have grabbed him. Talk about a perfect #2 for us. |

yah. He looks great too.
Unfortunatly.. or fortunatly.. we traded our second and third rounder in 2003 to get Babin... and the Bears drafted Berrian in the third. I hope Babin turns out to be as good as we think he can be.. cause Johnson, Berrian, and Gaffney... that would have been a sweet WR corp for years to come. |

I forgot the name of the rookie QB for the Bears, but he looked pretty good. Dolphins RB's (except Rickey) were good. I like how da Bears were throwing bombs all over the place. Urlacher smashed Feeley with extra sauce.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8876543/ Gus Frerotte, who replaced A.J. Feeley late in the opening period when Feeley sustained a contusion of the buttocks. Contusion of the buttocks?

i guess i've become numb to all the ricky talk. does he get paid during his 4 gm suspension? hope not. but even if he is ONLY getting paid the vet minimum [400gs+], i'll need to borrow an egg-timer to see how long it takes him to become a millionaire again! miami makes noises like their plannin to trade ricky before the trade deadline, but no way is saban is going to toss away a proven rb for an unproven rb they fished out of the draft.
