Default Jerome McDougal in Critical Condition after Shooting

Local 10 News has learned that a man who was shot in an attempted robbery in southwest Miami-Dade County Thursday night is a former University of Miami and current Philadelphia Eagle football player.

Jerome McDougal is in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The defensive end was shot in his silver Mercedes near 122nd Court and Southwest 203rd Street.

Police said a group of three men fled the area on foot after the shooting.

He had surgery and is up and walking. Listed now as good condition. Damn punks!

I have no sympathy, he played a large part in the Falcons loss to Philly, he is a Rosenhaus client, his brother was the biggest lazy slob on the Lions, and he went to Miami.

It was only a matter of time.
