Default And the Wonderlic Score leaks begin

As always, there are always early leaks. There's always the question of accuracy, and always the questions of relevance.

Here are a handful of those scores:

Quote:
Derek Carr: 20

Jimmy Garappolo: 24

Chris Borland: 32

Carlos Hyde: 9

Lol took the wonderlic test, scored a 37 rawr.. I can see why they give it though, as it's kind of interesting pressure test.

Oh Derek, that's a little low for a QB, you might want to put down the comic books and try reading something a little more challenging.

Blaine Gabbert just ruins any hypotheses you can postulate about the Wonderlic and QBs.

Not really. Scared (and the ability to overcome it) is not purely a choice.

He's thinking too much about his health rather than standing tall and making the throw.

Yeah, but it would be a pretty solid list without Blaine Ponder in there.

The main reason that experts believe that the Wonderlic test is mainly predictive of QB, LB/DB performance in the NFL is because it is a hurried timed experience that tests thinking in terms of quick decisions. QBs, LBs and DBs must make quick reads.

I guess we can't question the Wonderlic's validity on the basis that Ponder is at the top of the list...........he makes the quickest decisions to either throw the ball away or fall down I've ever seen.

I think another lesson worth taking away is that no QB with a score
Under 20 is successful

The greatest "cerebral" QB ever to play the game scored a 28 out of 50. That should tell you something.
