You should be interested in Patchan . He would be a 1st rd pick if not for injury. He was healthy this yr and helped pave the way for Williams big yr running the ball. Dude is very talented. Due to injury 5-1 would be where I would rate him. If healthy, he's a starting OL as a rookie on the Texans OL.

Much better than Newton or Smith last yr.

I like Patchan a lot in the 5th, and I think he could play LG or RT.

At 300 lbs he would certainly be a nice fit for our new defense, but he'll go in the bottom half of the first. I don't know how we could get him unless we trade down for extra picks.
That might explain some poor film this year.

I would not take Jake in the first round.
But he would make a great pick at 2-1 though.

Bridgewater isn't even going to run the 40. Wtf? Guy thinks he doesn't have to prove himself for the #1 pick?

They keep saying Kaep ran a 4.63 on NFL Network. Said the same thing last night when they compared his 40 time to Richard Sherman. Its crazy that the best CB in the league ran a 4.60. Just goes to show you that these times can be overrated.

Watching Kaep I would say he is fastest down the field of all of them. Maybe he sucks at the start with his long skinny legs.

I would agree with that. I don't know what his 10 and 20 split was, but once those long legs get moving he eats up ground. Manziel isn't really all that stright line fast to me so his time in the high 4.5's or 4.6 Sounds about right to me. His change of direction and elusiveness is what makes him special. I actually think those times he ran are pretty good for him.

Kap's official time is listed at 4.53. Sherman's is 4.56.

And yea the times can be overrated, but it also depends on how you deploy the player once he gets to the NFL.

Some of these receivers make me really wish we had the luxury to use an early pick on one.

Gotcha...... yeah I'm not sure what times NFLN keeps using then, but those definitely aren't the numbers they're going by.
