Guys an NFL HC one week and potentially a lowly positions coach the next ?
What are we missing here ? And another thing, I thought O'Brien already hired his OL coach, the son of the Iowa U. HC ?

Anybody else getting the feeling that this organization is taking a if you can't beat them join them mentality when it comes to the Patriots?

So when do we trade for Tom Brady?

O'Brien snagging 3 former head coaches in Munch, Crennel and Mangini sounds like a good idea. The players will be surrounded by coaches that command respect.

Not as much as Kubiak, Dennison, and Marciano!

Probably an either/or with Crennel or Mangini. I doubt he'll have two DCs.

Although, Mangini is an odd one. He was the DC of the Patriots for 1 year. But he's also served as an offensive assistant and he's with the Niners right now on the offensive side.

O'Brien will probably be calling the plays anyway... Mangini, if hired as the OC, would then have a similar role to Dennison.

I hope it works better than I'm starting to believe it will, because you can't exactly replicate Belichick and Brady.

We'll see.

Interesting career he's had. He's been the coach of a lot of different things.

Can't wait to see how this all shakes out.

Mangini as OC? WTF?

Sounds like BOB is surrounding himself with former head coaches
for a reason -- like maybe he feels the need for a lot of hand-holding.

Not happy with that thought..

Kind of fitting though, because Bortles reminds me of Pennington,
and I have a hunch the Texans will screw up the #1 pick and
take him over the other QB's, Clowney, or Matthews

That would be great. Wonder if that would mean we are scrapping the zone blocking scheme.
