Now, he could fall as flat as Connar did last year, but I'm expecting Merci to not disappoint. Double digit sacks for a certainty and barring injury, I'm going to say at least 15.
Yeah, that's the koolaide talking.

& that's cool. They can't be any less affective in our pass rush & we managed to do pretty good last year, so as a team, we'll probably do pretty good. However, if one of our OLBs turns into a special player, then McNair needs to go ahead & purchase his trophy polishing supplies.

It may be Mercilus, might be Braman. I really don't care, but so far, Braman has looked more "special" than Mercilus & Sam Montgomery looks like a beast.

Ahh... the good ol' days.
You're just a couple of years younger than me and don't remember the Steel Curtain? 2 or 3 players on those teams were just as effective.

On an individual performance basis, my top 5 are LT, Reggie White, Dick Butkus, Deion Sanders and Ray Neitchske. No particular order after the 1st two. Watt had an incredible 1st two seasons, but needs to do it for 10+++ to be considered among the greats. 1 great season and one very OK season is a flash in the pan. Longevity is what defines the greats.
