maybe on the surface, but never thought of Hundley as good, quick, decision maker which if you play QB for Kelly you need to keep up with his thought process. honestly, don't think O'Brian is all that different when it comes to QB play/development.

I think it depends on OB/Kelly's ability to teach it. If they can make it "easy" for the QB, then it may look like he's a good, quick decision maker.

For all we know his coaches aren't very good teachers & it's a testament to Hundley that he's been able to accomplish as much as he had.

He's apparently meeting with the Texans according to either Rap Sheet or Shefty. I deleted the message already, but anyways...

No, it's good. Until we get our franchise QB best to vet as many prospects as possible, imo. I've come around some on Hundley. Would need a lot of bench time, but has some tools and is sharper than I thought he was.

Pass! He has tools but I didn't see enough development from him last year against some pretty bad defenses in that conference.

Me too but "until we get our franchise QB" we're just going to have to turn over every rock we can right? I'm not big on either of the two project guys out there that we might end up looking at but I prefer Petty to Hundley if I have to take one (and we don't so why go get another Tom Savage?)

I hope Mallett steps up and runs with this so we can get past this stage of the process.

Sport Science draft combine: Brett Hundley
This got me excited.

Do you guys think Hundley will be there at 16 and if so do the Texans take him?

He will definitely be there at 16 but I doubt we would take him (I hope not at least). 2nd round would be a better target for him.

If we did, it would say that OB has no confidence in either Mallett or Hoyer or Savage. He'd be throwing darts and looking like a fool
