I don't ever recall Foster lowering his head in the open field.

He ducks and dives, runs out of bounds at the end of a run, I don't recall him lowering his head. He abstains from contact as much as possible.

Did Schefter mean to type Adrian Peterson?

I don't think this penalty will be flagged as much as these players think it will. That said, I think they're giving too much responsibility to the refs. Referees can pretty much decide the outcome of games these days....and that ain't right

Agreed. From Fisher talking about it the refs are going to narrowly enforce this as a true almost offensive spearing moment but as you say that narrows it down into an almost game-changing interpretation moment.
