Best source for TC info?

As someone who "converted" to follow the Texans (having been a Cowboys fan) only a couple of years ago, I'm still getting used to some of the differences. I'm wondering what the best source of finding information about the Texans' training camp is.

With the Cowboys, there used to be pretty detailed daily reports in the media, along with some individuals who would occasionally post extremely detailed (sometimes down to every play run) observations from camp. I guess I'm hoping for something similar for the Texans, but I haven't seen it the last couple of years.

You can also try the thebulleyes... I'm not sure hows the site is doing after converting from houstonprofootball. The crew members went to the pratices and took notes, so they were pretty good and infomative last year.

The News section of the Texans website is the best place to get training camp news and info. The quote sheets are gold.

Being one of the guys that wrote about last years training camp on HPF, I say go to official site first, like aj said. Then come here, there are some very strong writer/observers here, and also go to the new site in the bullseye.

If you go these site and then hit the chron.com, you will have covered most everything Texan.

On days with out an open practice, the official site and here will be your best leads.

Case in point. Check out the recently posted 'Camp Arrival Quotes.' Outside of a live radio/tv interview, you just don't get that stuff anywhere else - while it's still warm at least. You will likely see news articles built around a select few of these quotes in the coming days.

Woooo 619 is a pretty tough channel to bring up on my radio (He means 610 am).

610 is the Flagship for the Texans radio broadcasts, so it's in their best interest to talk about them quite a bit.

There have been quite a few comments in various threads that Lance Zierlein (LZ) on KGOW (AM - 1560) is the most knowledgable local guy on NFL football. His show's on in the mornings during drive-time, and particularly given the way the Astro's season's going, I imagine he and his partner will be pretty focused on the Texans throughout TC.

Disclaimer - not in any way affiliated with KGOW, and in fact, don't really like anything else they have besides LZ.

I know a lot of you guys love 1560 but I seem to always miss LZ's show. I always catch Sean and John in the afternoon and whatever is on before LZ (6am or so).

Those shows are awful.

As far as radio, LZ in the morning and Sean and John in the afternoons talk more serious football than anyone.

610 is very basic and superficial in what little analysis they do. I'll leave it at that.
