I'm not quite following what you are saying...that the Dolphins have played 14 straight opening games at home? How is that possible when all the other teams switch every other year?

Thanks, I wasn't sure about it. I believe when OU played Colorado here, they played the next day on the road.

because whoever told you that the "other" teams switch every year doesn't exactly know the procedure.

There is no procedure.

Check this out:Teams that have had consecutive home openers AND/OR ROAD openers dating back to 2001.

Minnesota: no consecutive home openers 2002 and 2003- road openers
Jacksonville: 2001 and 2002 with 2 straight road openers 2003 2004
NY Jets: opener on road 2002 and 2003
Green Bay: 2001-2003 opened at home
Philadelphia: 2 straight home openers 2003 and 2004
Buffalo: 4 straight home openers 2001-2004
Carolina: 3 straight home openers 2002-2004
Miami: 4 straight home openers 2001-2004
New York Giants: 2 straight home openers 2002-2003
Baltimore: 3 straight road openers 2002-2004
Tennessee: 3 straight home openers 2001-2003
San Francisco: 2 straight home openers 2003-2004
San Diego: 3 straight road openers 2002-2004
Washington: 3 straight home openers 2002-2004
Cincinnati: 3 straight home openers 2001-2003
Cleveland: 4 straight home openers 2001-2004
St. Louis: 3 straight road openers 2001-2003
Denver: 2 straight home openers 2001-2002

You're the one confused. Some of the examples you have on here are teams that are on the road for their opening game. That is hardly a "consecutive home opener" as you state. It makes no difference to me as long as it's fair to all teams. And in the end you get 8 home and 8 away.

well let me go back and edit that then...jeesh it got the point across that they don't alternate every year...who told you that anyway?
