Begins with saying it was really exciting to finally get back on the field.

Charlie asks if he thought he'd hit the type of jackpot money wise that he has after being a 7th round pick out of Purdue. Reeves says he just wants to play football and show what he could do, says he's blessed.

Charlie asks what did he splurge on after he got the big new deal or who did he take care of? Reeves says he took care of his mom. She'd been there for him his whole life. When he was at Purdue she went to every home game even if she had to drive or fly.

CP asks how much of a growth experience last year was with the Cowboys when he was a full time starter for the first time in his pro career. Reeves said it was a big learning experience and learn how teams react to different situations.

CP asks him about a theory. He relates it to a player tearing an ACL. If a players injures himself like that, he may play alright the first season but it's the second season where he plays to his full potential. He asks the same of Reeves. That after being mainly a bench player with the Cowboys in his previous years, and after being a starter for the first time in his career last year, this year being his 2nd full year as a starter (assuming he starts opposite Bennett and Dunta is still out) that he'll have his full game. Reeves says again it was a big experience, had to learn to play 60 plays instead of 30 and gained a lot of confidence.

CP asks if he identified the Texans as a team that could be interested in him. He said he felt it would be, loved the team, the situation, the players and how we're only a few wins away from the playoffs.

CP asks him about the first part of the schedule which seems daunting. Reeves says all they're worrying about right now is getting better as a team, they aren't looking that far ahead right now.

CP asks if Richard Smith and/or Jon Hoke had a specific message to the defense today, first day of minicamp. Reeves said they talked about takeaways a lot.
