Default Carolina is looking at McCree

According to kffl.com

Quote:
Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the Carolina Panthers will have free agent S Marlon McCree (Texans) in for a workout Wednesday, March 9.

Brown and Earl are both SS, McCree is a FS.

With Coleman around, McRee would not be used as much. Not to mention, we have some good db's already riding the bench. Jason Simmons. McRee served a purpose though. I would say that it was a mutual situation. He got a chance to start and the Texans got rid of an unmentionable FS.

I'm happy for him, but I still hate to see him go.

He is a solid backup and I hate to see him go. He was our savior during the Matt Stevens thing. He deserves a starting spot somewhere, I wish him the best.

His name is "McCree" not "McRee". I don't think he was ever really given a chance here. He got run off by Del Rio in Jacksonville. I think the guy could be a starter somewhere.
