Maybe. We have descent depth at the position but I think there's room for one more for a vet that isn't gonna hit us deep in the pockets. If all else fails Coleman could step down from FS and help us out. I'd like to see us give Lord or Mcree another shot at FS. They've been exposed to the system long enough I'd feel comfortable with either one.

People easily forget that there is a thing called a salary cap. Sure, we could easily go out and get Law and Burress, but how about next year? Do you like seeing Jamie Sharper in a Texans uniform? How about Domanick? What about when Andre's time comes in a couple of years? Will we have money to sign Antwaan Peek after this season?

I'll pass on the big name free agents to take a rookie with potential, and be able to hold on to our current big name players.

We got burned because we were one of the worst teams in the NFL when it came to rushing the QB. Our CB's are above average and don't have a need for another vet. Drafting the future replacement for Glenn is not out of the question though.

To give Vinny stat backup, we were dead last in the league in sacks but top 5 in INTs. In other words, poor at pressure but lots of pick-offs anyhow. Kinda makes you wonder how good that secondary could be with a little more rush.

Lets be realistic , there are far more pressing needs on this team than the secondary (THIS SEASON) . I dont see any addition via free agent but the draft is a different story , they need to get younger in the socondary with Glenn and Coleman both getting a bit long in the tooth . Those dollars spent on a vet CB would be better spent on other area's such as OL DL and TE.
It all starts up front .

Don't be talking like there would be no Sharper on the team next year!! I can't handle that kind of negativity!!!! Sorry 84, I am very partial to Sharper.

His contract is up next year, right?
