Hello all (How is Charles Spencer?)

I am a big time Buffalo Bills fan but have long followed the Texans as well.

I had a question about Charles Spencer, I am just curious what the word maybe for 08. How hes progressing...etc. Ive not had much luck with finding info through searches on google.

Appreciate any and all info. I certainly hope he makes iut back to full speed soon.

The last we Left Charles, he was placed on IR list . I believe the coach was gaurdedly optomistic on his retrun this spring. The problem isn't the beak. It is where the break occoured. There was a question as to how much blood was reaching the cartlidge. No blood there, it will be imposible for him to return. The cartlidge will not regenerte. Even if he recovers completly...he will have two years of rust on him.

We as fans are going to have to wait and see what happens with Spencer. The optimistic side of me says Spencer will be back at full strength, but optimism has led to disappointment with this team before. What a bummer.

If I were a betting man I'd say he wasn't coming back. Even if he does we have to realize that he will be rusty and still a rookie. Plus we don't even know what he was capable of anyway. He only has about 5 quarters of game experience. That being said, I would love for the man to come back and anchor that OL.

Spencer could still be productive as a guard, although LT is probably hoping for too much. Weary's contract is up after this year, we could use Spencer as his replacement. The Texans still need a LT though, probably will have to get one with the first pick in the draft.
