I'd say there is a good chance it is true. He has a Texans acceptable pedigree.

Makes Zabransky look a little dumb for not taking the team's offer. He possibly could have made it onto the team.

uhh... I guess I was under the impression that our line was a part of a cult that sacrificed Quarterbacks on sundays... was I mistaken?

Heard the Nall's thing on the radio today.
Not only is Schaub hurt with the "we aren't calling it a concussion thingy but sure does look like it", but Owen Daniels the emergency QB is done hurt too. Never ever think it couldn't get worse. Because you know what, life has a way of showing you some scary stuff after you have alread been through some scary stuff. You have to believe that down the road it is likely going to get better, but the Texans options right now are not appealing. No running game. A dinged QB, a backup QB who is having to move around a lot in the pocket, no Daniels, a practice squad guy and some random pickup that can't be the QB in Buffalo. Any word on the injury status of Andre Davis? Didn't he leave the game? I'm guessing they may do Sage as starter, bellrunged Schaub as a please-don't-make-us-use-him-as-a-ballhanderoffer. (Carr's role as of the second half of the Raider game last year). They might have to actually use Darius Walker if Green ain't right, Dayne is biffed around, and Echemandu's hamstring isn't functioning. The interesting thing about this is that teams have been able to run against the Raiders. And the brief moments of Echemandu showed us that maybe the offensive line isn't completely dead, that maybe a guy with some pop can do some stuff. (I think the Texans would have liked to have run more last week but they ran out of guys who were able to function with both Dayne and Echemandu taking a beating that game). The Texans offense is a mess. Fortunately the Texans can rely on their trusty defense and consistent special teams. No wait, no they can't. Gary Kubiak, running the MacGyver offense:

So, everyone should mail Kubiak a paper clip, 3 rubber bands and their left shoe?

We'd at least have a viable option at Left Tackle!

I got the impression that Boyd was a project and the fact that Nall is coming in and Boyd is staying on the PS pretty much confirms that.
Nall is someone who can come in now and hand the ball off and throw the occasional dump pass 7 out of 10 times without screwing something up. Wow, we really are pretty screwed, aren't we?

If Owen Daniels is hurt there goes my idea at the last ditch effort to have a running game. Daniels running the option with all our 2 running backs and a fullback, it would be a sight to see. Well, we would at least make sportscenter for doing it.
