Texans need to set a goal to not allow Refs to penalize them. Play a nice clean game and destroy the Jags.

Totally agree. I'd also like to add no turnovers as well.

Coming out with a "W" would be a nice goal too.

We might need to sit Pitts then ... just saying.
(Pitts is good but seems to always have at least one penalty a game)

I'm sure any team has a goal of getting zero penalties in a game, but it rarely happens. What I'm hoping is that if/when the Texans do get penalized they aren't drive killing flags. How many times last Sunday did a holding call stall a drive?

I hope we pull far enough ahead to where we can get a couple of late hits or roughing the qb's. Our defense needs to be nasty in opposing teams stadiums. Let em all know that we came in for a dog fight.

Really no turnovers, that is what has killed us the past 3 games, turnovers in the friggen red zone.

Luckily the Jags don't have premier edge rushers, unfortunately they do have some very good interior DL to worry about. That will be one of the games key matchups as always.

Well it depends on the penalty really. On a couple of the Pitts' holding penalties they were a good decision, because if he hadn't held the defender Schaub would have gotten blown up. And if the hold is what sprung the play then it wasn't a good offensive play anyway.
The real killer to me is when a hold occurs away from the play or unneccesarily and would not have effected the advancement of the ball. That drives me freaking bezerk. What we need is good blocking and pass protection, without the holding. But if an OL gets beat and they can hold the defender to stop a possible, sack, fumble, or injury on the QB then by all means take them to the ground and live to fight another down.

I'd rather no turnovers than no penalties. We seem to cough the ball up way too much (and we need to force some turnovers on D, too!).

In our last three games I believe we've only created a total of 3 and have either lost or barely pulled out a win. So IMO, it's obvious what we need to do.

If we can avoid penalties and losing the turnover battle, I think we win. We have better coaching.

Can someone make a list of crappy ref decisions in this game? Off the top of my head is the first JAX TD and the %$#%^ no delay of game call. WTF is up with the officiating today? Garbage.
