Enough blame to go around

This was a pathetic, messy game that made the Falcons look like world champs and Joey look like Peyton.

But on the offensive side, Schaub came apart at a couple of critical times, and the play calling and clock management was lousy.

One is tempted to wonder if the real Texans are returning. We hope not, but if a team ever looked like a mismanaged bunch of halfwits, know-nothings, has-beens, and never-weres, well, this is that team today.

It was embarrassing, folks.

I agree totally. And heres the thing, when the coaches can't get it under control the chaos rubs off on the whole team.

I am not going to even wonder about it.

I know who the real Texans are, they played the last 3 weeks well. This was not the real Texans. I don't know what happened out there, but you'll see the real Texans next week.

Schaub came apart?? What game were you watching. Without Mat you ARE the old Texans. With him you battle to the end with a mediocre line-up and key injuries.

I think we need to pickup at least 3 new defensive backs in the offseason and maybe a 3rd round pick RB.

Falcons just moved the ball with ease on our defense. Harrington looked awesome picking apart our secondary.

Something's gotta be done about Petey and the defense. They played way soft today, except Demeco and Amobi.

Play-calling was suspect, but Schaub is a good QB. Some people are complaining that when he's pressured he rolls out and throws it away. I like that. As opposed to sacks, it's a godsend.

Look, 2-2 isn't bad. Should the Texans be embarassed and upset after this loss? You bet. They've got to back to what was successful and that starts with getting some weapons back on offense and special teams.

Um, were you watching the game? Schaub had one bad issue(that fumble), but come apart? Schaub looked great out there. He was rolling, making passes, and getting rid of the ball before sacks. Also, I don't know if you noticed but many times Schaub stepped out of bounds BEYOND the marker so that he would not get sacked. YKW made a living running out of bounds 10 yards deep. Schaub even went running head first trying for the td. No, Schaub played great. Its just a shame he didnt have too many people to throw the ball to.
