Does Directv show all the preseason games as well as the regualr season? I would like to watch the Texans preseason games and since I am not in Htown, they will not be televised on regular tv. Would I be able to go to a sportsbar(with Directv) to see it?

Where do you have to live to get these games on regular networks or cable? Under the freaking stadium? Or, is that too close? Oh, I get it, You gotta hover in a helicopter about a mile above the stadium, with a cable going all the way to it.
![]() Not that I care, but I looked and even the Cowboys preseason games aren't all being shown here, because they apparently figure we'd rather watch games like St. Louis vs. San Diego. I don't think the freaking NFL wants anybody to see it. That's what I think. Baseball--a gazillion dollars to Yankees players (no salary cap)--check (not watching) Basketball--well, I just don't care--check Football--To watch your favorite team, you have to move to Cambodia and have a direct cable coming down from a freaking satellite--check It's time to throw out the TVs and forget about sports.

I think that NFLN is playing most if not all of the preseason games this year. They're not showing them all live but to the best of my knowledge, they're showing them. They're also showing some scrimmages under that same program name ("NFL Preseason Football".) |

During the 2007 NFL preseason, NFL Network televises 52 games -- all but the 13 televised nationally by the NFL's other network partners (CBS, ESPN, FOX & NBC).
NFL Network carries a record eight games live, including a pair of live preseason doubleheaders -- an NFL preseason first -- on Saturday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 30 with 7 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET kickoffs. NFL Network produces two of the eight live games -- the Hall of Fame Game (New Orleans vs. Pittsburgh) and Washington at Tennessee on Aug. 11 -- while simulcasting the others. For most simulcast games, NFL Network uses the television feeds of local broadcasters and makes use of both sets of announcers. For example, if Houston is playing at Arizona, NFL Network will use the announcers from the Cardinals (home team) for the first half, and then switch to the Texans' (away team) crew for the second half. The simulcast games will be available live nationwide (to all but the two competing team markets in most instances). If they don't have the game in your area, the NFL Network will show bits from every game in real time.

Yes and unlike BSPN, the shows will be on when they say they're on. I've seen one episode of NFL live this off season. It's not my lack of effort. It's the yankees sports network dumping it when the baseball games over lap. Never dump Baseball tonight after three showings or nascar what ever, but the NFL stove league stuff gets dumped, every night. Now it'd be one thing if they were getting a six share with the baseball. . But they're not. No one is wacthing the rose fertilizer nor most of the programing they post. So you tell me why ? I ain't going to run back to them after the season starts I can garuntee you that. The only thing negitive I can say about NFLN, is why in their right minds they stuck Brian Gumble on the primetime Sunday night game. He is horrible. The most boring man in america. I guess it's a fifth avenue thingy. I don't get it.

It will be very interesting to see how their programming looks in 2015 as in 2014 their contracts are up with MLB and MNF for the NFL.

My response was quoting a football fan's discontent over NFL programming not starting on time. You took a risk and you own the result.
