I thought he was on IR. But I looked at the matchups and it had him on there. Whoever did the matchups page said something about "he needs to keep the Colts defense in front of him". It sounds like going to be on the field. I thought once you are on IR you are out for the season, even if you magically heal your injury.

He's on IR which means he's out for the year.

Jason Simmons will start and you will see McCree on substitution packages.

Another reason not to believe everything you read, or hear for that matter. There are writers and sportcasters (?) out there who are too lazy to do their homework.
Cut, paste copy and guess is the best a lot of them can do.
I've seen an abundance of it this past week.
