This team would probably be better served by going after a situational rush DE in later rounds like the Bears and Broncos had with Anderson and Dumerville this year, than to select a DE in the first. I wouldn't be unhappy with either Adams or Anderson if they present the best value in the 1st, but a player like Dan Bazuin in the 4th might offer almost as much to the pass rush without having to give up as much (although level of competition could be a concern).

i think we need a better olb and place him opposite of mario on either side....we all know they really dont run towards mario as it is, so if we stop the other side we will be dominate at stopping the run.jmo

Preferably I'd like for the Texans to ask Weaver to gain a little weight and move to DT full time. I'd like for Mario to be the Strong side DE, and for us to find a weakside DE either on this team, free agency, or draft. Kubiak talked about the importance of being able to get a rush with your front four and IMO, he'd be contradicting himself with Weaver and Mario at the DE spots.

I actually think Babin/Peek/ Kalu can get the job done at the WDE spot.

Mario is a definitional LDE. He needs to play that position, and we still need a weakside DE.
