Well the only thing exciting that happened in the game against the Broncos was Dunta Robinson's stick on their fullback. Give Dunta a raise! Give Dunta a game ball or something he knocked the **** out of that dude.
Other than Dunta Robinson's soldier play that game was absolutely pathetic and sickening. I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing. Give Dunta a raise! |

I was at the game and I think the Broncos fans liked the hit almost as much as we did. Props to Dunta on not giving up on the game.

Well it wasn't the hit of the year. You want hit of the year? See Jason Simmons against the Raiders and Titans. The Raiders one is still hit of the year. He was against a much larger player and made that guys helmet come off and everything.

One of the things that made that hit special was that it was at the ~4:00 mark of the 4th quarter. I saw some guys who appeared to be going through the motions at that point so Dunta's intensity from start to finish is very much appreciated.
Another thing that made the hit so special is that Kyle Johnson outweighs him by 70 lbs. |

Well while the Simmons hit on Sims was nice, the guy didn't see it coming at all so I think that gives more credit to Dunta's hit. The FB was lowering his shoulder and everything like he was gonna steamroll Dunta, and got nailed.

I think Dunta has some kind of shoulder injury and he isn't going to practice. I don't know if it was from that hit (I didn't bother watching the whole game), but he's a little guy and hopefully he can stay healthy for us.

That was a great hit, i think simmons against chris brown was similar because he was face to face to him and lit him up. He may have given himself a concussion but he also hurt brown, takes some power to knock two people out at once, even if it was himself. But i also think that the blocked punt was something that was a great play for the texans in the game, and it happened early which should have got the juices flowing, but unfortunately it didnt.

I only saw the Drob hit when it happend and I have seen the simmons hit during the raiders hit multiple times so for now I will have to go with simmons.

I wouldn't call it hit of the year. It was a good hit, but he got what seemed to be the worst of it. The Simmons hit was better at least both players went out.

What about Jason Simmons hit on Chris Brown of the Titans?

I think the proper criteria for, "The hit of the year.", is one in which our guy walks away. Only the Simmons hit on Special Teams qualifys.
