I think it is still up in the air whether or not he will fully recover.
--From Espn.com-- The biggest question mark for the upcoming season is DT Seth Payne, who the Texans are hopeful -- but not sure -- will be recovered from multiple left knee surgeries.

I doubt he is ready to start the season, I can see him coming back around week 4 though
