This is very suprising. Why are we carrying 4 QBs and only two TE with Joppru being out. We are not maxing out the roster. We should have kept Matt Murphy.

Maybe they are planning on moving Banks or Ragone to someone in the immediate future. I don't understand the rules of how long a player must be on the practice squad before they can move up (if any). But that is the only thing I can see for keep BJ on the active roster.

Well our 3rd TE (Joppru) and our 4th QB (Symons) are both on the PUP list. Neither of them count against the 53 man roster, but they are both protected.

Murphy is back on the practice squad though. To be honest, I looked at Miller to see how he was holding up on his blocking and I really think the new zone scheme benefits him because he has looked good in the preseason games.

a player on the practice squad must be active for 3 games or the team loses the rights of that player & another team can claim him.

No.....

If a team claims a player from another team's practice squad, that player must be active for 3 games for the new team.
