Yes, I understand. You know it all and because you say so they aren't touching either of those QB's.

Whatever man. Go have a fit over your lost QB fantasy

If we trade for Mallet, isn't he our QB of the future.

He's got another 10 years in him hasn't he?

Mettenberger IMO has the highest upset of any QB on the board.

Texans won't take him though because they're just too scared to try something, ANYTHING, that might be mildly risky.

Now we can sit back and watch Mallet throw picks for us for the next several years after Bellicheck rapes us in the trade.

Maybe you've forgotten that Schaub isn't here anymore. He can't bounce back. Even if we have a top 10 defense and a great supporting cast Fitzpatrick isn't going to take you to the playoffs. Keenum is terrible - we saw that last year.

A first round QB who could come in a provide a spark could've had an incredible impact on our win total this year.

Depends on the pick, but if we give up 2.1 for Mallet then that pretty much cements that he's the QBOTF.

No, no, no. Didn't you see what that Apple guy said? No offense next year! No offense EVER! It's over! I haven't had time to whip up a "Hitler in his bunker realizes the Texans didn't get Johnny Football OR Teddy Bridgewater" video yet so just imagine how it would go.

That's where we are right now.

No its not stupid. It doesn't matter how many other players bounce back when Ryan Fitz is going to be the best QB on the roster. Because the Texans wouldn't give up a 6th round pick to move up enough to get a QB who could have been better. THAT'S stupid.

I wanted nothing to do with Clowney. I don't understand his lack of production, nor do I understand how he can fit in with Watt in Crennel's defense.

That being said, I can't imagine one draft pick determining whether the team can win games or not the following season... That is, unless they took a QB at 1.1... The clearest signal that this team would be in for a losing season would be if it committed to a rookie QB (leading to lots of growing pains). Even if Clowney is as bad as I fear, he doesn't preclude the team from having a good season. Similarly, missing out on a single player doesn't eliminate the possibility of success. This is the ultimate team sport.

That PR implosion would be temporary if Derek Carr can win football games.

And who did we like at 2-1? Because saying there's a big difference between 1-32 and 2-1 is pretty ridiculous. I hope our draft team isn't that black and white
