I wish you did too steelb. How would things be different if the leaks that came out about the coaches having too much control over the draft was in fact, a fact? I know folks have called Rick Smith "a snake" for the leaks but how do we know it didn't come from higher above? Someone (don't recall who) posted that Rick Smith wanted T.Y. Hilton and Gary overrode that and they drafted Posey. If that's the case, how many other times did it happen?

I can take the sticks and stones tossed my way if folks wanna call me a Smith homer though that's not the case at all. I am willing to venture forward with an empty cup though. The organization is structured now more conforming to most franchises in regard to the power structure if we're to believe what we've been told. I believe the next two drafts will go a long way to determine who was/is the incompetent party in the war room.

I'm looking forward to May but just as importantly who goes, who stays and FA moves.

It's an exciting time to be a Texans fan. I wanna revelle in it in lieu of pissin' and moanin' about it.

Just me maybe.

No one really knows the answer to this.

We don't even know what offense O'Brien will run. We THINK he will run some flavor of the one that N.E. runs but we don't KNOW that until he rolls it out during OTAs or training camp.

So how will we know, in January, which QB will best fit an offense we won't even get a peek at until May??

Besides, for my money, it's not just the QB, it's the whole package. QB is just one thing out of a whole shopping list of stuff that needs fixing.
  • O-line (two words: Right Tackle)
  • ILB (will Cush be back to form? and even if he is, he needs help.)
  • CB depth (especially if the rumors about him running a lot of nickel are true)
  • DT (we don't have the kind that Romeo has historically liked.
  • RB (Tate is as good as gone and they may send Foster packing too)
