OTTOM LINE Without Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III throwing him the ball in 2012, Williams used his size, quick feet, speed to be a playmaker for the Bears. He had 957 receiving yards, 11 TD as a junior in 2011, and led the entire country in receiving yards his senior year. It might take time for him to learn a full route tree in the NFL, but he’s a big, fast receiver with great body control who is also a willing and able blocker.

Willing, strong, and physical blocker on bubble screens and in the run game, throwing his body into defenders and sticking with blocks. His blocking was a big key to Baylor’s perimeter run game.

You know Kubiak has got to love the Baylor guys blocking skills and according to this analysis, he's disposed to being a "willing, strong, and physical blocker". Sounds like he's also got a descent size/speed combo. And he could maybe be had in the second round ?

I like Williams, but I'm not sure he lasts until pick 57.

I'm a little dissapointed that Williams didn't try to improve on his numbers at his pro day.
4.48 in the forty is pretty good, but with a 4.32 SS, it may show a limited receiver that depends purely on speed to get seperation.
Together with an uneven performance during senior bowl week doesn't help him in this deep class.

If he can't show that he's faster than Posey, nor does he possess the horizontal agility in and out of the brak, nor can he jump as high, nor does he have bigger hands, why should he get drafted higher than Posey's slot?

does anyone think Hunter could fall to our 2nd round pick.
Or do you think we need to take him with our first or maybe drop down to the early 2nd to get him.

Im really hoping we get Hunter or Rogers because for me there is no other potential number 1 recievers in this draft. without injuries or off field trouble these guys would be top 20 picks imo

I don't think Hunter is available at our 2nd round pick. I think if we want him we'll either have to take him at #27 or take a risk and trade down to the mid 30's, hope that he's still available, and get Hunter at the top of the 2nd.
