There are some questions that the Texans face entering this season. And if these are answered the Texans will be definite playoff contenders or will atleast make a push. For instance, will Babin and the LBs be able to provide the pass rush which DC loves? Will Dunta Robinson and Faggins be able to hold their own on the field? Will Coleman make the transition to FS succesfully? Will the DL be able to stop the run more effectively? Will David Carr mature as a QB and take the big step and be able to go through all his options before dumping the ball to the RB? Will the new zone-blocking scheme work and how will Seth Wand fare at LT? Will the RBs (DC & TH) be able to carry the running game? Will Andre drop less balls? And will other WRs and TEs become better targets for DC?
I think after watching the game, practices, and the scrimmage i am very encouraged from what i've seen and think that everything will fall together and all these questions will be answered. And i like to say that if these do happen our Offense and Defense will both be ranked in the top 10 in the NFL. Where would you guys rank them? |

If they were to answer those question??? Of course....that goes without saying IMHO. If we answer those problems on the field we won't be playoff bound...........we're in the Super Bowl and winning it!!

Everything would have to fall perfectly in order to truly be considered in the top 10 on both sides, but it's not totally out of the question imo. Likely? Nah, but that's why they play the games. I am thinking middle of the pack for both units, which BTW, would be HUGE upgrades over last year.

I agree with Porky, somewhere in the middle of the pack. The defense might crack the 10-15th range and the Offense somthing around 15-18th. Sould result in an ~8-8 season. All things considered, that's not bad for the third year.

Wins and losses are all that matter to me. The only question I want answered yes is will we have more wins than losses this year.
