No, he got in a bit of an argument with some jackass. It went on for about 10 replies or so. He was being brutal to Arian. Really was dumb for Foster to waste his time replying. His announcement came shortly after the "feud".

I didn't follow Foster but I stopped following the players a while back (mostly boring stuff). I like to follow the NFL beat writers from the various clubs around the league though. If a player says something important enough, I'll run into it.

It's going to be a long damn time 'til the draft gets here.

That yo-yo effect is happening, where I actually find myself giddy over seeing a new, yet minor, topic in the Texans Talk forum.

Then the yo-yo zips down and we can't wait 'til camp begins.

Then it goes up when camp starts and we can't wait until the first preseason game.

I remember him doing this last year. He took a break from twitter, and not many people noticed. Sounds like this year, he is doing it for good. I guess time will tell.

The only reason I signed up to Twitter was to follow athletes and reporters that tweet breaking news, transactions and draft info. I rarely tweet and don't even know if I have one follower other than my wife. I follow and read about sports from the athlete's perspective as well as the media.

All that said, there's a lot of fans who just thrive on being the internet bully to athletes. I've seen some horrid things said to these players that just make me wonder wtf is wrong with people. Anywhere from racial blasts to death threats. I admire some of these players to a certain extent for having the ability to screen a lot of this crap.

One other thing...I still don't understand the mental boner fans get from "retweets". "Retweet, it's my birthday" or "Retweet, I'm fighting cancer"....good grief!

That's the thing. He didn't say he believed in God, but he didn't say didn't believe either and people on both sides of the issue took the ambuguity to be his disagreeing with them and attacked him. It was REALLY stupid.
