The hand size is a highly underrated feature . JJ Watt has 11 inch hands , which help you grip , grab , knock down , control , and so on . As a QB , big hands give you grip and control . Some teams think 9 1/2 is minimum .

5. M.Wheaton and M.Goodwin were standout WRs. Wheaton is a polished rt. runner w/ strong hands. He has tools to be a strong No.2 as a pro.

Goodwin is crazy explosive. Speed overwhelms defenders. Reminds me of M.Wallace from PIT at 1st glance. Big play threat at next level.


Many prospects are said to have Olympic type speed, but Goodwin actually does.

About Marquise
A jack-of-all-trades, Marquise Goodwin not only does it all, he does it all very well and has done so at a young age. Goodwin qualified for the London Olympic Games following his junior season as both a track athlete and wide receiver for the football team at the University of Texas. He qualified for the 2011 World Outdoor Championships at just 20 years old. He made quick transitions following international competition back to the football field the last two years. In three seasons with the Longhorns, Goodwin has made 16 starts along with catching 91 passes for 975 yards and three touchdowns. Competing for Rowlett High School (Rowlett, Tex.), Goodwin twice was selected the Texas Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year while winning a total of seven Texas 5A state championships (long jump (3), triple jump (2), 4x100m (2)). Competing as a high school senior in the senior division at 2009 USA Outdoors, Goodwin set the national high school record in placing fifth (8.18m/26-10). Goodwin also won both a USA Junior and World Junior title. Passing on his remaining jumps in prelims and the final, he took just one jump to win the USA Junior Outdoor title in 2009.

i cant be the only one, but i truly despise the measurements. by the measurements mario williams is already in the hall of fame, jacoby jones cant catch a game winner, and eric winston barely makes a team. hakeem nicks with 4.4 speed and impossibly large hands should be in a world of his own and wes welker is working at mcdonalds. ray lewis is average at best while sergio kindle is a monster.

The measurements may not always tell the entire story, but they are a big part of what you need to look at.

I've watched every UT game since the mid 80's and I never thought Goodwin was all that great or explosive. He would have an occasional run here or there, but he never got open deep. Maybe it was coaching and play calling.

Ray Lewis was a 1st round pick . JJ was a 3rd out of Lane , and Winston was overpaid .

Nicks is pretty good , Mario is not bad but he's no JJ Watt , and Kindle was a 2nd rounder and remember Lewis was a 1st rounder .
