Cant really see the Texans resigning Cody because he really isnt the NT you want for Wade's system. Especially with the emergence of JJ Watt we really need a NT who takes on the double team in the middle to open up more 1 on 1s for both Watt and Smith. I think a bigger NT would really help fill the gaps and do wonders for both run defense and pass rush.

In the Trenches is the name of the Koch & Kalu on 790..... as a matter of fact, you start typing In the trenches in a google search bar you get a hundred or so hits..... Kinda cliche' I would say.

I'd go for "The Right Guard"


I also wouldn't count Cody out. He had back issues this season & it's painfully obvious that we don't have a clue what Wade is looking for in a NT.

Ben Jones really needs to get in the weight room and get used to the NFL. He's pudgy compared to Myers/Brown, he needs to get in a real heavy off season program, I'm surprised he looks as he does coming from Georgia. Looks like he just won on his abilities alone, that doesn't work in the NFL.

And for those people who criticize Jones for being pudgy, just remember he was voted "the class of his class" by his peers. And I'm sure Texans's brass would tell you that for a 4th round pick, they've been very pleased with his rookie year. After all, he's the only rookie who's been a starter for most of the season. No other rookie has really made the contribution he has to the team this year.
