I understand throwing it behind him....... McCorty was sitting right there.
But why so high? That endzone view shows that ball could have been lower. Not blaming Kubiak for that FG, Casey had a TD, didn't happen. Matt threw a duck.

Manning a little faster
Casey a little more sure handed Schaub a little more accurate Story of our franchise

I know this sounds Homer'ish.....
But maybe a nice little FG there is better than a TD. With a TD, Brady comes out slinging and doing his thing to get the 7 back. With a FG, maybe he coasts a bit...thinking that he doesn't need to do much to be the victor today. But yeah, needed 7 there. Not 3. *&^%#$!

Nice return by Manning.
Good call by Gary. Perfect pas by Schaub. Dropped pass by TE. FG. Wasted opportunity. |

Get serious. That was a spot on pass to Casey who supposedly has the best hands on the team and he whiffed.
Yes Matt blew the next throw which never should have been necessary.

Why? It worked, AJ was open and Matt threw a bad pass. Not a play calling issue there.

So, now that the opening jitters are gone, lets complete a pass next time...

I think it's just what it is: Safety'ing up to make sure we don't blow a FG. Hate it or not, it is what it is.
