Bailey really isn't the same DB he was 5 years ago. Burned by Smith there, and he was completely overmatched by AJ and Roddy White in the regular season.

In reality, there's nothing "special" about that throw, he just put it out there, far enough, with enough air for Torrey Smith to run under it.

No reason Schaub can't do that, he just doesn't.

Well, on the boots it takes him 10 seconds to get around, by then, Andre has already outran his arm.

If the Ravens win, there will be a really good chance that the refs tomorrow (Pats-Texans) feel no need to give Tom Brady any breaks.

Because the new hot thing will be the idea of the Texans losing HFA then getting it back again by virtue of the Broncos blowing their own game and the Texans finding a miracle to beat the Patriots.

AND, ref conspiracies aside, the Texans--if the Ravens win--will know that they have a real chance at redemption all of a sudden.

This could be a Perfect Storm if it keeps up.

Looks like we're in for a good game here.

Flacco makes those throws quite a bit. I dunno how much you watch him, but Torrey Smith has been doing go routes like that all year. I don't know what their completion % is on those, but it seems to happen a lot. They also result in penalties on the defense quite a bit. It's just great to have that throw in your arsenal, because a guy like AJ would greatly benefit from it.

I know there's a long way to go, but the Texans could be walking out tomorrow, with an opportunity to punch a Superbowl ticket in Houston. Makes me giddy thinking about it!

If you have Schaub good protection like the Ravens gave Flacco on that play, there would have been more completions. That pass to AJ in the endzone, for example, would have been a TD.

Meh, they've been fair so far. The PI on the pick 6 was a relatively tough one to call in full speed, and I don't think the others have been particularly controversial. The Broncos have just been more undisciplined so far.
