You get the best and the worst of the media world from the east coast. And when your journalism career isn't going to be propelled by substantial writing, you become this guy.

The Boston media (and National media) recognize the POS he is.
From the website Dan Shaughnessy Watch We read him so you don't have to. Sunday, January 06, 2013 Quote:

I think you're mistaken me for someone else.
I believe there is ample evidence over the last three weeks that we've been getting better & back to the kind of football that had "everyone" thinking we were favorites to win the Super Bowl. I'd have liked another week, playing someone else, before we go to play New England, but as is, I like our chances.

He wouldn't put the Texans as #1 on "his" power rankings until we were like 11-1. I think it was since that day, that we started to nose dive. The freak'n curse of pancakes McClain.

I like how the Texan fans tried to give him props, but the Pats fans came in and basically called him a douche.

Some more background on him: He is the one who originally coined the "Curse of the Bambino". After the Sox won in 04, they showed the Boston press box and the only one who wasn't either in tears or elated was Schaugnassey. If I remember correctly, he actually had a slightly disappointed look on his face that his claim to fame was essentially null and void.
He is now known for these types of pieces; overly extreme in one direction (positive for Boston teams or negative) to get attention for his articles. He also wrote a piece a few years back about why Cornell "deserves" to beat Kentucky in March Madness that got national attention, mainly because of how dumb the logic behind it was. In summary, he's a hack. He has the nickname "Curly Haired Boyfriend" and "Shanks" in Boston, neither endearing in any way. If you want a real take from the Patriots side, I can link to the articles from the more respected Patriots writers later this week when they are published. |

Think about how many times people have bitched about Belichick pouring on the points and throwing for TDs in the 4th quarter when they're up by 21+. In that Monday night game, Belichick let up. You can come up with whatever reason you think he did, but it was pretty evident to me that he let up because he knew the Texans, and especially Kubiak, had quit. That was as complete an ass whipping as I've ever witnessed in the NFL. It was not just a scoreboard defeat.

Does he wear a uniform? Is he A coach? Who cares what he thinks. We got our asses handed to us a month ago in Foxboro. They should be happy to see us.
Punch a bully in the mouth. That's the best way to shut them up.
