Your post was deleted (yes I did it) because it violated MB rules. We don't take the insults out, we just delete the post.

Yes. You agreed to it when you signed up. There are also board rules which should be common sense, i.e. it is moderated to keep it a family suitable place. Attack posts but don't insult posters. We allow a little jabbing outside the NSZ. Inside the NSZ we are a little looser but still do not allow direct insults. If your posts are regularly ending up with asterisks you should be getting a clue your language is not permitted. Calling someone a jackass is going to get your post deleted. As I said, we don't edit posts, we delete them.
As a personal note which is not binding at all - try delving a little deeper into conversations and actually contributing more instead of being Mr. Angry Drive By Poster. That's up to you.

And I contribute a lot when there's something to contribute to. I go into snark mode when I need to. Seems to be a lot, lately. Not my preferred style. That's why I replied to Showtime the way I did. His comment pissed me off, as if he doesn't know I contribute and as if he doesn't know that I'm not a teenager. Frankly, if other people are allowed to post multiple threads full of the same worthless nonsense (look at the main forum, for God's sake. Look at people like ckhouston), I don't see why I have to get reprimanded for my fittingly-snarky replies. |

PS - snarky is OK. I am snarky a lot. Just don't directly insult folks as you did.

I wish the Texans fans were more like Hawks fans. The atmosphere in reliant has been kinda boring.

I assume that structure could have something to do with closed versus open roofs or air stadiums. It has been said the roof at Reliant should always be closed because the crowd noise is more effective. However, it seems to work the opposite in Seattle with open air. Why?

Jim Harbaugh denies honking at Seattle Seahawks bus
0 By Kevin Patra NFL.com Published: Dec. 25, 2012 at 05:30 a.m. Updated: Dec. 26, 2012 at 04:54 p.m. Honk-gate, the Phantom Honk, the Honk Heard 'Cross the Bay -- whatever you want to call it, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh says it never happened. Following the Seattle Seahawks' 42-13 beatdown of the 49ers on Sunday night, two Seahawk defensive backs, Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman, told Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports that Harbaugh honked his car horn and waved at their bus following the 49ers' victory over the Seahawks in October. Harbaugh denied the accusation Monday: "No. No, that did not occur. That's a fabrication," he said, via the San Francisco Chronicle. Harbaugh said the incident couldn't have happened because he didn't leave Candlestick Park that day until after the Seahawks had already left. "I can't think of a time when I've left the game and the other team's still been there this entire season," he said. While this particular controversy might be contrived, what is not is the bitterness being built between these division rivals. The Seahawks -- feeling like they've had to live in the shadow of the 49ers hype -- have played with a chip on their shoulder all season, and gained a pyschological edge after Sunday's blowout. Whether they meet again in the playoffs or we have to wait for next season's games, the acrimony between the Seahawks and 49ers will linger for a long time. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...e-seahawks-bus |
