Is there really one or two with high ceilings like AJ Green and Julio Jones?
Bring up your case. I haven't really reviewed this year crop in depth, but I think Justin Hunter may have the highest ceiling due to his physicality. He certainly has the frame to put on another 10-20 lbs. Don't forget that Lestar Jean was a skimpy 195 lbs in the second year of his Senior season. I mentioned this some time ago after I watched an early game that year (it was either the second or third game of the season) and Jean was really thin at that height. |

Guys I like by round:
1. Keenan Allen, Justin Hunter, Cordarelle Patterson, Terrance Williams, Deandre Hopkins. 2. Quinton Patton, Robert Woods, Da'Rick Rogers, Cobi Hamilton, maybe Aaron Dobson. 3/4. Marquess Wilson (depends on attitude during his interview), Markus Wheaton, Marcus Davis, Jordan Mathews, Conner Vernon. I think Hunter, Patterson, and Williams have very high ceilings but can take a couple years to develop. |

I think my guy T Williams is ready to go and will get better with experience. However, those that could go either way are Cordarrelle Patterson and Cobi Hamilton. Not saying they will bust but my expectation of them like last year's Kendall Wright is huge. I'm really surprised with Hunter coming out that Patterson has not decided to go back to Tenn. to raise his ranking. If I could get him in second or Williams in first I'd jump at CP.

quinton patton in the second would make me extremely happy. I wanted t.y. hilton pretty bad last year, and I think patton is my guy this year.

If I'm picking Patterson, @ 32 is a bargain. Which means he will go in the 15-20 range. LOL |

I think if he drafts and goes to the combine, he will be a top 15 pick. He's the best looking WR in the class IMO.

I agree with DR, if Patterson declares and goes to the Combine someone will fall in love with his size, speed, and athleticism, and he'll probably be gone by the 20th pick.

It's rare but I feel the best WR isn't a WR at all, he is a TE. Tyler Eifert. There is no sure thing in this draft like a Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones or AC Green. However I'm pretty sure that Eifert will be a star @ the next level. Going to take your chances on these WR's, only one for sure is USC super sophomore Marqise, Lee& he won't be draft eligible until next draft.
Size 6'6" 251 - matches up favorably with Gronkowski ![]() Technique - route tree & hand placement create superb open windows for QB ![]() Durable - 2011 Mackey award finalist & 2012 Mackey award winner ![]() Blocking - Combination of balance, footwork & strength ![]() Production - broke Notre Dame tight end single season receptions and receiving yards record, previously held by Ken MacAfee. ![]() Character & leadership - Team Captain http://www.uhnd.com/articles/footbal...aptains-10015/ ![]() Now if you limit me to just WR only then I'll have to say Keenan Allen, CAL. He is 6030 210 & runs a sub 4.5, might be around 4.4. He has both exceptional lateral quickness combined with long speed. Plucks the ball with those big hands, gotta be 10 1/2" or so? Knows West Coast System, active blocker he is the type of receiver Kubiak could groom to compliment, eventually replace Andre Johnson as next Texan #1 WR.

Yeah, I would love to have Tyler, too.
Say, I remember watching some game in 2011, and they mentioned a receiver with 10-3/4 hands, but I couldn't find my notes. Anybody knows who that is? I wanted to say Sammy Watkins, but I'm not very sure. I think that guy is an explosive player with high ceiling. Looks like he's slowly getting back to form. Who will Clemson be playing? LSU? What's up with his drug-related charge, any update? |

Man I tell you what if we really want a WR this would be a good year to get one. There are alot of productive wideouts with good size and ability coming out. I really like Hunter out of Tennessee, Hamilton of Arkansas and Williams of Baylor. Hell there are more quality wideouts in this draft than in any I can remember in a long time. No superstars just high quality guys. That should cause many of the top guys to fall later than they would.
