Things are about to get a little bigger in Texas.

The Houston Texans announced that they will begin construction soon on what will be the biggest video screen in the NFL, besting the video screen at Cowboys Stadium by about 3,000 square feet. The new video board was approved on Wednesday by the Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation.

I actually liked the season when the roof was broken and we got rained on etc. I understand the high temp concerns but wish the limits would be broadened some.

I understand the 80 part of the limit, but not the 50. 50 degrees is awesome football weather.

Maybe so but no way does the stadium rumble as much. When it's closed, I can really feel the crowd roaring. Open... is complete silence for me.

The roof has a marginal effect. The excitement of the crowd has a far greater one. JMO.
