That can occur all the way up to Monday night pregame.........probably they'll try a PASS Sunday.....and if needed, they'll try again on Monday.

We ran 2 TEs a LOT and ran 3 TEs (usually from shifting Casey from FB over to a 3rd TE spot) quite a bit and even, on some rare occasions, with with 4 TEs -- usually bringing a tackle in. And this was my biggest fear with loosing Dreessen. I think we've seen a drop-off from Dreessen to Graham but I think Graham is getting better.

he Texans announced today that Graham wouldn’t be making the trip to New England. That means fullback James Casey will get more action at tight end behind starter Owen Daniels.

Because coach Gary Kubiak loves to use two tight ends at once, expect Daniels and Casey on the field together. Casey starts at fullback, but could get more playing time at tight end more than any time this season.

The Texans were hoping Graham had recovered well enough to play. They followed the NFL protocol but elected today to give him another week.

"They elected" nothing..........the neurologist did not give him a clearance at the classic one week period (Sunday to Sunday-------today)..........and didn't feel there was any chance that the evaluation would change by game time.

Why? Casey slides into two TE sets and Clutts comes in if we need a FB.

This is far less of a problem than our secondary issues.

Because of McCain? Even if we had him or even Ball, it wouldn't matter all that much if we are unable to get pressure up front in our base. J Joe is back and ready to go.

We run a ton of two TE sets in this offense, and we lose flexibility w out Graham. Casey is a mere hybrid, and we need him coming out of the backfield. You aren't fooling anyone w Clutts at FB.

Besides, the secondary is an issue in and of itself. Like I was saying, we need all hands on deck regardless to have the best chance at pulling this one out. Our offense will need Martin to step up in this game.
