No big deal to me either. But I always thought if the organization wanted to appeal more to the state they would move training camp to San Antonio or Austin. The main reason Training Camp is held here was that the organization wanted to familiarize the upstart expansion team to its home fans. Well i think they are established here.
As of right now the Pokes do not hold camp in Texas ( why should they they own the state).

He was mad at the way the Rangers fans treated Josh Hamilton in that whole dust-up last season, when there was speculation he might leave.

He didn't appreciate that such a large faction of Rangers fans would turn on him like that.

I don't care, but he did. As an Astros fan, I could only wish that THAT was our biggest problem.

Honestly, Hamilton deserved some of it. The dude is a strange cat and there are times when everyone is on Hamilton time. Yeah, he is a top of the line, great MLB player. He can put up numbers like a Sega game. But he can also loaf, swing at bad pitches for weeks at a time, quit tobacco in the middle of a season where it admittedly screwed up his head, drink too much caffeine where it screws up his eyesight and drop popflys in the biggest games of the year and then act like he doesn't care. The guy is all over the place. Plus, it isn't like the team turned on him..just some fans. That doesn't reflect on the team.
