I found anotherrecord that could be reached:
Most Sacks by a Rookie: 6, Brooks Reed 2011
Whitney Mercilus has 5 sacks with 4 games left.
I like Mercilus's chance now that he plays a lot of snaps.

What was the fewest INTs thrown by a QB?

INT is a no go. Schaubie and Yates combined for 9 last year.
Schaub already got there by himself.

In a full season it is 11 with Carr in 2005. Of course he only had 14 TD's.

Right now Schaub is at 9 INT's with 21 TD's.

Previous low in sack allowed is 22; right now we're at 15.

I think we have a very good shot at this.

According to 610am, JJ Watt is getting credit for another sack in the Titans game. That's 16.5 for the season. He's on pace for 22.

Default Re: Potential Texans Season Records/Firsts for 2012

Most Sacks by a Rookie: 6, Whitney Mercilus 2012 & Brooks Reed 2011

-The Texans are 1 home win from matching that record.
-The team is 1 division win from breaking that record.
-The team is 1 NFC win from matching that record (Texans have never beaten the Vikings)
-The team is on pace for 449 points scored & 324 points allowed.
-Schaub has completed 64% of his passes. That record looks out of reach this season.
-Foster is on pace for: 1412 yds, 17 rushing TDs & 6 100 yd games.
-Watt is on pace for 20 sacks.

Some other records that could go down this season:
-Donnie Jones is averaging 46.9 yds per punt (record is Hartmann: 44.4, 2011)
-On pace for 6151 total yards gained (record is 6186, 2010)

He's been a breath of fresh air. Watching him & Braman on Special teams is the only thing that makes it bearable.

Hard for me to focus on what we have when I see what we could be. Probably will re-evaluate after season over and my "mad" evaporates. It is a good season but days like New England and Minnesota irk the pee pee out of me.

Also became second-fastest player to reach 800 in a career, doing so in his 137th career game. Marvin Harrison reached the milestone in his 131st game, with a much better QB.
