Titans guard Leroy Harris said after the game that if you take away those two sacks, Watt didn’t have a very good game.

“He’s not anything special,” Harris said of Watt after the game, via Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle. “I locked him down most of the game except those two plays.”

Maybe the Titans (and you) were so focused on blocking Watt and, through you may have succeeded somewhat, you left the other 6 defensive players open to beat up on your offense.

Especially when he was in one-on-one with Watt only 9 times.

Watt also had a QB pressure/hurry that forced an incompletion.

On another play, Cushing got there first to bat down a quick pass.

Oh, and Hasselbeck went with a lot of short or quick passes.

All teams do that against the Texans; otherwise, they don't stand a chance with our pass rush.

They always need extra blockers to go long.
That's when we have more men in coverage and the back end needs to do their job.

If he's not anything special, how come I watched the Lions using 2 and sometimes 3 OLineman on most Detroit offensive plays to bloc him ?

What a dumb ass. I remember when he first said this crap, I got a good chuckle out of it.

Hope to see a lot of sacks come Sunday on Harris' side. At the end of the end of the game JJ can bash two bottles of Gatorade together, and give a two finger salute on the Bull Pen wall.
