Just a point on Suggs. He will NOT be playing on Sunday. I have it on pretty good authority that floating the possibility is a marketing tactic designed to make the Texans game plan him. We have a BYE next week as well and as has been noted earlier, he's only been out there for 2 days of practice, he's significantly overweight and needs to drop pounds and really needs at LEAST a week of full practice -and more likely THREE before he is put out there.

Obviously, I'm biased, but I don't want to believe anyone on this board wants Suggs to reinjure himself. The Ravens don't either and they aren't stupid. He will not be active on Sunday.

Haloti, on the other hand, will.

And I have a partial labrum tear. I've had it for years and it doesn't bother me. Every once in awhile, it will flare up and I get a cortisone shot. But it's generally a common anf fairly minor injury.

I think that if you read a lot of the posts, you will see that many of us have said that we would hope that he didn't play us because this could do nothing to hinder our chances, and do nothing for him but increase his chances for re-injury.

Haloti, I expected to play.

A torn shoulder labrum can be relatively benign. Tackling shouldn't be a problem. But depending on the stage (acute [including recent re-injury] or chronic) and the extent of damage, he could be quite limited in going up for high pass protection (arms above the head).

Hopefully, in their aggressiveness, they also play CONTROLLED......and don't repeat the killer penalties that nailed the coffin shut last week.

Mortenson reporting that Suggs will play. If he does it is a desperation move by the Ravens and a dangerous move at that. No way in hell he is near game ready.

A player playing hurt could hurt a team more; see J Jo and Caldwell for example.

But then again, for the Texans, the guys who replaced them didn't play well either (Ball, B. Jones.)

And of course, we already missed Cushing to start with.
Cody was playing with a bad back; A. Smith and W. Smith both weren't 100% and so on and so forth.

And it was more about the Texans beating themselves.

Sure they commited some costly penalties .... but the Packers won that game more than the Texans lost it IMO. They wanted it - and needed it more and they took it.

Sure, they did want it more and they did win the game, but without those penalties, they wouldn't have them two TDS.

The game would have been 20-17 in the fourth quarter. It would have affected the play-callings.
In general, it would have been a much closer game, not the a**whooping that we witnessed.
