Does his helmet have a Shetland pony on the side?
Sorry, it was just sitting there for the taking.

I don't know about you guys but it truly pissed me off to see Holliday have success against the ravens. It just shows that Holliday could've been the return man here in Houston if it wasn't for the train wreck of a special teams we're running under Marciano.

Holliday set record for longest punt return for a td in playoff history and also longest kickoff return for a TD in playoff history.(also most return yards in playof game)
Jacoby set nfl record for longest kickoff return (reg season) in nfl history. Pretty dang incredible brief moments Meanwhile joes squad seems to be getting close to nfl record for most blockS in the back

I still remember Jacoby getting a lot of flack for dropping catches and returns.
I said that's what you get with him. He has the speed and the shiftiness to make big play, but you will have to accept those bad moments, too. I believe the Texans let him go, more likely was due to threat to his safety, as reported in the news. The same thing goes for Holliday, who has even better speed. (Without the threat to his own safety, yet). Again, I was also long those who would still rather keep Holliday. However, I don't gripe too much when they let either guy walk. There are also times when you can't afford a critical mistake. Holliday did fumble some for the Broncos this year, besides the times he did with us. It's a two-edge sword. If you like living dangerously, it's fine. But if you'd rather play sound and good football, you would hate to see the mistakes. But you can't go back and forth. Both guys have bad plenty of chances to prove that they can be more consistent. Make your decision and move on. |

Plain and simple while Holiday was here he showed signs of being a great return man. The problem was Holiday also played like he had self doubt like he was thinking to much not reacting naturally. Fast forward to yesterday Holiday is now playing like Kubs thought he could. I am happy for the kid just wish he put it all together a little sooner.

Yes. One took his chance and became an All Pro returner. The other broke the playoff record for most return TDs in a game.

I'm just glad Jacoby & Trindon were going head to head...
I don't know if I could stand having both our special teams castoffs making the difference for their new teams in getting to the conference championships. |
