So they released the KR for a back up guard.
Are they going to make another move? Hmmmmm.... Maybe they are about to trade Caldwell. |

Sorry Trindon couldn't make it happen in the regular season...
That being said, it was the right move. |

It was time. He looked timid as hell prior to this year and looked like he'd finally "got it" in pre-season. He'd been regressing.

Holliday never gave up the ball in the regular season right? So if we have some bonehead punt returner fumble at crucial times this year can we please not complain? I would rather take bad field position over a turnover any day. Manning was a great KR but is it worth the injury? Forsett? Keo? Yuck.

Good luck to Trindon on his future. I think his NFL career (such as it was) has now ended. Now sense in dancing on the grave so to speak.

In the preseason I didn't think he was going to make the team.

I hope Trindon gets another opportunity and does well. Our Special Teams overall have been horrible along with Trindon. With better blocking though I think he'll be able to make some plays. I bet he's on a roster before the end of the week. I hope he proves that he wasn't the problem and hope it isn't against us when he proves it.

This is also a shot across the bow of coach Joe's ship. Dude had better get his squad to perform better or he's next to get the pink slip. You can't let all gains of a great offense and great defense go with horrid special teams. All three phases need to be solid if we want a chance for the Lombardi.

I was surprised to see him make the 53 and like many, excited in the anticipation that he may go off in week 1, like he showed in preseason. Again, with anticipation in week 2, again in week 3... it's worn off.
Hate to see the "little man" go, as I like rooting for the little guy, but unfortunately, preseason's performance didn't carry over. His fault or not, it is what it is... To that.. I wonder if the preseason success is maybe a result of some teams not really investing "real game" effort on kickoffs... ie- going 80% in preseason, due to the high risk factor of injuries, resulting in Trindon going all out against them to achieve the returns we saw? Or.. maybe in preseason he's getting reps against opponents who are bubble players trying to make a team, half of whom get cut and by regular season he's facing more skilled/talented opposition? Or a combination of both? I only ask, because what we saw pre-season vs. regular season was not a marginal difference.. it was NIGHT and DAY. Certainly TH wasn't the x-factor in that difference. Anyway.. Good Luck where ever you land little man! |

So, how long until another team picks him up because of what he did in preseason? I say the Titans take a good look at him...
