Default Re: IF Cushing is done for the season what are our SB chances?

If Cush is the only key player we lose, that's one thing.

But it's early in the season. Very early. Is it reasonable to expect that we won't lose any more?

We lose Schaub, we're done.
We lose Foster, we're done.
We lose Watt, we're done.

We going to need to be lucky. Just being good won't cut it.

We can lose all three of those players and still win the division. We won't go very far in the playoffs, but we'll still win the division.

More hurtful than losing Foster would be losing D.Brown and maybe even JoJo - maybe even AJ. The reason is, we have a ton of talent behind Foster, but are really slim behind those 3 guys. But I really hope we don't lose any other key piece. What is it with Houston sports teams, that it is always "if we can stay healthy we are contenders, but..."

It really forces one to appreciate how incredibly lucky and good the teams that have won two Super Bowls in a row were.
