I'm in Ft. Worth. He's a great QB, much greater intangibles than Andy Dalton. Pachall's got an arm, and he's got the accuracy. The one problem is that Casey's a wild child. He parties hard, and he's admitted to using weed, crack and ecstasy.
If he gets his head on straight and studies as hard as Andy Dalton, he's a lock for the first round.

Casey Pachall was just arrested for DWI last night. Honestly, I can't say I'm too surprised.

Kid has a lot of talent, but is costing himself a ton a money. Look at what happened to Mallet during the draft process. I really wish schools could mandate drug and alcohol counseling for these kids who have past indiscretions to prevent incidents from reoccurring. Past players would also make great mentors for the current student athletes as well. I know they have this at a few programs, but it would be great to see it implemented at a lot more schools.
Not saying it would have helped this kid though. I've heard about his heavy drug use for a while now. Its not a very big secret in the D/FW area. |

It's really a shame. He has the intangibles of a first round QB.

Yeah, you're right I forgot about that. It is a shame, and hopefully he gets his life together. GP has to send a message though and make sure it won't be at TCU. The lightest punishment I'd give is suspending him for the rest of the year.
