On a similar subject - When the Rams announced their original 3 year plan to play here, very few fans over on NFL Uk considered switching from their teams to support the Rams....Once we're settled on a team, most of us stick to it. I bet some UK fans will consider switching to the Jags as they say they'll be here for 4 straight years..... This will maybe attract new and casual fans... but most will stick with their team. I wish some of my buddies were Jags then we could have some banter!

I know I have little chance of ever seeing the Texans over here, even for a road game but that's fine. I'll just have to make the trip someday !
Nice to have first hand knowledge that the majority of Brits aren't bandwaggoners.

I appreciate the method you used to decide on the Texans. Thought and sound reasoning led you to the Texans. Great choice!

When you do make "the trip" make sure it's to a home game and hang with the Blue Crew in the Platinum Lot. I've had the privilege in the past and can assure you, you'll feel like you're at home.

That said, you can stumble up to any tailgate in any lot and you'd be welcome. Houston didn't win the Tailgate #1 award 3 years running by fluke.

I think Schaub can be that guy, but I doubt him lasting a whole season.

The era of a crappy QB with a great running game and defense taking the Super Bowl may be over. Even if it isn't, that formula isn't as viable as it was even five years ago.
Case will lead us there

T.Js TD pass with 8 seconds left to lock up the AFC was a moment of greatness I will never forget !!!

Thanks. Oh I will make sure it's a home game. We have 'tailgate' at the London game each year but it's not a proper tailgate as it's not in or near a car parking lot, or anything remotely similar....in fact it's inside a large penned in area with mobile fast food joints making a killing......so it sucks in comparison. I look forward to sampling a proper tailgate one day

You haven't lived til you've sampled the fare at a true NFL tailgate party. You haven't lived well until you've sampled said tailgate fare at a TEXANS tailgate party.
