Definitely not strictly enforced. We weren't checked, I just tore the tag off the parking pass and handed it to the lady and drove on in. We were a little late though. It took us an hour to go down Kirby from Lupe Tortilla at 59 and Kirby!

It gives you the right to occupy a parking space on Reliant property during game day if you have a game or tailgating ticket. A parking pass does not give you the right to loiter on Reliant property before, during or after a game.

True, but how do you occupy the space if they won't let you in the gate?

I did find that new ticketing policy on my reread of the new parking policies that were mailed out. It's still ridiculous.

Have a game ticket or tailgating pass.

The policy has been in place for half of 2010 and all of 2011 - you MUST have a gameday or tailgate ticket to be on Reliant property.

So correct, a parking pass grants you as right to park but also requires a gameday ticket or tailgate ticket.

I give them my stub when I am driving in, just slow enough for them to take it... I do not stop and chit chat with them, I move along, as there is nothing to see there....

I think they get less strict the closer to gametime since it's less likely your there just to hang out.

After kickoffs, the parking attendants and security go around to groups still in the parking lot checking for tickets and tailgating passes (at least they do in platinum).

That's why I think asking for game tickets (especially in platinum) for parking is asinine. Check the lots AFTER kickoff and be done with it. Why annoy your paying guests ($45 per space, per game in platinum) when they're just trying to get in the lot?

Oh well.
