So??

If you're constantly told that a certain team is going to draft you, you get your hopes set on that team, and it doesn't happen who cares if he could've been upset (which we don't even know if that is the truth or not). These players have emotions too.

It's no different than what happened with Watt.. a lot of fans were upset with the pick and who was coming to the team, but it worked out. Well if Cushing was upset with where he was going (if that was the case), but it also worked out... what's really the difference? We're allowed to have opinions and feelings about who's coming here, but they can't have opinions or feelings about where they're going?

The only thing that matters is Cushing has come here and thrived and now loves the city, loves his teammates, and loves playing here.. it all worked out in the end. The same way that Houston fans now love the draft selection of J.J. Watt, watched him thrive, and love how he represents their team and city. That also worked out in the end.. so why go back and worry about how someone might of felt in a green room 3 years ago?

Warren Sapp has openly said he was not thrilled to be drafted by the Bucs..

I'm sure if you gave Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson truth serum they weren't openly excited about joining the Cardinals and Lions either..

Houston didn't exactly have a track record of success when Cushing came here... in fact they're still working on developing one and Cushing is one of the guys who is leading the way.

Who cares what he thought draft day? Cush has given his all since he's worn the Texans uni and that's what really matters.

Can you blame Cushings for being ambivalent on Draft day about Texans? Until last year, we were considered a mediocre team at best. Our D was a joke and we never had a season where we dominated. All that matters to me is that he has been nothing but hard working since we got him.

Exciting season ride more than "incredible life".

Watt's an engaging fellow having a good time of it, soaking it all up. Its COOL stuff, but not "blown away" by anything the article mentioned. I'd stop short of saying its future Bagwell and Biggio fixture material. Though embracing the city with open arms and "getting hugged back" is a good path to start.

Nothing much to say there more than SO WHAT (or So Watt, if you gotta be cute about it)

Who cares what he did on an isolated event, when everything past that the next 1,000 days shows its the opposite. He's bought in and he's loving it now, so move on.

If you're gonna celebrate your 5 year anniversary with your wife, it doesnt matter if at first she gave you a cold shoulder when you first met.
