The Bucs are very interested to see what the Vikings do here. At #5, we stand to get a very good player at decent value.

Sorry, was out for military training.
RGIII. Just because Ponder did alright, doesn't mean i have to be glued to him. Realistically, Vikings won't be in this position. But, since there are no trades, RGIII. BPA.

If that were to happen the Texans should offer the Vikings something to ponder for Ponder .

I have to say, this is not something I have even considered for Minnesota but....I think it's brilliant. Kalil is far and away their top target and then after that you have Claiborne. They could land a ransom by grabbing Griffin though and putting him on the block or they could keep him and shop Ponder (for much less IMO).

Lame... I was hoping to get RG3 for nothing...
Oh well, looks like Colt McCoy gets a shot to prove himself as a franchise QB this year. In order to help him do so, the Cleveland Browns select Justin Blackmon, WR Oklahoma State. At the combine he weighed in at 6'1 207 pounds. He ought to be the #1 WR that the Browns have been sorely lacking.![]() Video from the picture above. I was at that game ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcywL...eature=related

Some have it, some don't, but I would imagine people check their email more often than this site. To enable it, go to "User CP", then click "Edit Options" on the side and make sure you have the box checked for "Receive Email from Other Members". I may use that to notify people when they have it enabled.

With the 5th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select:
CB Morris Claiborne, LSU ![]() The Bucs have glaring weaknesses at cornerback in a division in which they play Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, and Cam Newton. Ronde Barber will be 37 years old next season and is contemplating retirement after a one year contract expired this past season. Recent reports indicate that Aqib Talib will remain a Buccaneer moving forward, but legal issues may put him in jail during the season. The Bucs need a guy to play right away and Claiborne is as ready as any corner in this draft. The Washington Redskins and Aussie Texan are now on the clock. |

With the 6th pick of the 2012 NFL draft the Washington Redskins select...
Jonathan Martin OT Stanford This was a very difficult pick. With top prospects gone that we had an eye on (claiborne, RG3). The redskins are the quintessential average team. In all team stats they lie around the 10-20 mark. But doing some more research i found out that there QB got "hit" the 3rd most times last year. They need help on the o-line to protect our new QB (...Manning lol). I selected Martin because his a better run-blocker then Reiff. With shannahan running the ball is a focus and we need a strong RT. Martin can and will develop his pass-blocking as well |

Yep,
The Texans need to be on the lookout for a QB of the future. Unless you think Yates is the QB of the future. I dont, he's a high end backup. IMHO Although Yates should be very proud of the way he played, in one of the most difficult situations imaginable. Man this mock is much different than I expected already. |

Hou Tex doesn't get on the MB during the weekends. So we will start this thing again Monday morning. Lets get some opinions on the picks so far and how the mock is going in general. I'm sure glad I dont have to pick for the Redskins. They were in a pickle at pick #6. BPA didn't really match their needs. I would've taken Floyd. But Martin is a good pick. |

^ So far things are good. The Vikings drafting RG3 was an oddball move but, at least it makes sense in theory whereby they can trade Ponder for draft picks/players.

so far all the picks have been very good.
Tampa badly need help on Defence and claiborne is the BPA plus feels a need. Rams selecting Kalil is again BPA at a position of DESPERATE need. Vikings = RG3, threw a massive spanner in the works but i like it. Harvin is going to love this! Colts with luck well i just don't see it i have a feeling that week 1 jj Watt barrels saturday and puts luck on injury reserve for the year lol ... seriously though obvious pick and the pros are obvious too. Blackmon to the browns i really like. still think Mccoy as something in him and needs weapons. Blackmon and greg little are too solid young WRs to help out Colt |

Martin is my #2 Tackle in the Draft. I've never though of Reiff as a LT and there was no way I draft a RT in the top half of the first round, so I consider him overrated
